National Merit School of Excellence

The Clark County School District (District) is proud to announce it has earned accreditation by Cognia, a nonprofit organization that provides quality assurance for schools, school districts, and education service providers. Cognia’s global network of educators is dedicated to improving educational opportunities for all learners. This accreditation culminates two years of student, program, and organizational evaluations.

​Cognia nationally recognizes schools and districts that meet rigorous standards focused on engaging learning environments, equitable resource allocation that meets the needs of the learners, and effective leadership. Earning accreditation from the Cognia Global Commission means that all schools and early learning centers within the District are accredited and that the District is recognized across the nation as a school district that meets Cognia’s Performance Standards and maintains a commitment to continuous improvement.

Nevada Governor's Developing STEM School

Designation as a Governor's STEM School denotes that the school meets the highest standards of STEM instruction and is a model for schools around the state.

CS100 Award

CS100 Awards recognize elementary schools nationwide that commit to teaching at least ten hours of computer science to every K-5 student.

National Merit School of Distinction

The Magnet School of Merit Awards elevate the standard to recognize member magnet schools/programs that demonstrate an exemplary commitment to academic standards, curriculum innovation, desegregation/diversity efforts, specialized teaching staffs and parent and community involvement.
